4th Grade Teachers

Mrs. Schmidlin:

I was born in Hermosillo, Mexico, but grew up in southern Arizona in the small town of Bisbee.  When I was 14, I volunteered at a children’s summer camp, and that’s when I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I attended Cochise College for two years and earned my teaching degree from Western New Mexico University in 1998. I taught 4th and 5th grade in Casa Grande for 7 years and spent another 8 years in the middle school teaching 6th grade math. My husband, two kids, and I decided to move to San Tan Valley in 2013. I took a year off from teaching and spent time at home with my family. In 2014 I decided to come back to teaching part-time and became a substitute teacher in the Florence School District. My two kids were attending Circle Cross at the time, so I loved to be a substitute teacher here. In the middle of the school year, I was offered a full time position at CCR and I am so happy to be a part of this great team!                aschmidlin@fusdaz.org

Ms. Golbeck:

Hello! My name is Adrienne Golbeck and I am going to be teaching 4th grade this year.  I am very excited about working with an amazing 4th grade team.  I recently moved to Arizona from Illinois, I’m going to miss my Chicago sports.  Before moving to Arizona I worked as a para-educator for students with Autism.  I have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s in Elementary Education.   I am excited to meet my students and get the year started.          agolbeck@fusdaz.org

Ms. Chapman:

I’m Chelsea Chapman and I am thrilled to be at Circle Cross Ranch K-8 this year.  I grew up in Illinoi and moved to Arizona when I was 16.  I have three sisters and one brother.  I am the second oldest in my family.  I love to hike, camp, swim, go to the beach, read, run, and play with my puppy, Artemis (of course!).  I am a huge Disney fan (but I’ve never been to Disneyland).  This will be my third full year of teaching.  I love teaching because I learn so much from the students every day.  Also, I love the look a student gets when he/she understands a concept.  I have taught first and second grades in the past.   cchapman@fusdaz.org
