Ms. Hubbard:

Hello!!  I am so excited to be teaching 6th grade science and social studies at CCR this year. I love social studies and have been teaching it for the past 5 years, but I also love science!  This year we’ll be studying world history, ancient civilization to the Renaissance, and we’ll be studying Earth and space science.  I have a BA in History Education from BYU-Idaho and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from the University of Southern California.  I am highly qualified in Science and in Social Studies.

A little bit about me:  I love learning!  Learning is my favorite thing, so consequently I love reading, films, plays, travel, museum, maps, books, instruction manuals, lectures, and school.  I believe that there is always more to learn and everyone knows a little bit more about something than you do, so it’s always worth listening.  I love science fiction, and we are so lucky to be living at a time where so much science fiction is become science fact.

I am excited to be joining the 6th grade team at Circle Cross Ranch and look forward to a great year of learning.  ehubbard@fusdaz.org

Mrs. Skinner:

I’m very excited to join the Circle Cross Ranch 6th grade team this year as the math teacher. This is my 4th year teaching only math and I love it. I have a 1st-8th grade standard Arizona certificate with an early childhood endorsement and middle grades math as an approved area. I have previously taught grades 1-7. My favorite thing about teaching is watching student’s eyes light up when they are understanding things they have previously struggled with learning. It’s truly the high point of my teaching. I’m looking forward to an awesome year at Circle Cross Ranch. Go Cheetahs!
