I decided in 2nd grade that I wanted to be a teacher. J From 1999 to 2004, I was a Teachers’ Assistant while working towards my teaching degree. I assisted in classrooms ranging from Kindergarten to 6th grade. I earned my Elementary Education Degree Cum Laude in 2004. I taught 5th grade in St. Louis from 2004 to 2006. During these two school years, I also taught 6th grade summer school sessions. My family then moved to Arizona where I taught 4th grade from 2006 to 2011. During the 2011/2012 school year, I joined the amazing team of teachers at Circle Cross Ranch. I taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Math, Reading, and Writing. As you can tell, I’ve had fourteen years of experience in the professional education world. I still couldn’t imagine doing anything else for a career! I’m thrilled to be a part of this wonderful team at Circle Cross Ranch where kids really are put first before all else.
